Academy Manager

Jack is the founder and manager at Kickstart Coaching UK & Kickstart Academy UK

After five years experience as a lead coach for development centres such as Chelsea FC, Jack decided to establish Kickstart in early 2014.

Jacks playing career as a youngster started was with a very successful local team who ran riot in surrey, winning the West Surrey Elite League two years running and the Surrey county cup. After youth football Jack went on to play For Camberly FC & then progressed to Godalming town. He is now currently working back to playing again after giving up for two seasons to concentrate on his passion for youth football.

Harry Chalcraft

Harry Chalcraft

Head of Foundation phase

Harry co-ordinates the Foundation Phase within Kickstart Academy UK – u7-u11

His football career started as a youth player where he enjoyed stints at Reading FC in there academy along with local clubs. Harry then naturally progressed to Godalming town u18’s and Knaphill FC Where he is currently playing.

He offers Kickstart players a wealth of youthful energy and enthusiasm along with a broad spectrum of knowledge and passion for the game, a true players favourite coach.

Matthew Hess

Matthew Hess

Academy Goalkeeping Coach

Matt or ‘Matty’ is the Kickstart Academy Goalkeeping coach. Matt is in charge of all things GK related, his coaching style is energetic and engaging and his knowledge of continued development is second to none.

Code Of Conduct For Players:

  • Must listen to all instructions given to them by coaches
  • Always respect other members of the group
  • Be prompt to sessions
  • Come to sessions wanting to learn
  • Do not risk other children’s learning via inappropriate behaviour
  • Respect the venue

Code Of Conduct For Coaches:

  • Encourage players at all time
  • Help to build players confidence in creating a safe environment
  • Be constantly on hand to give feedback to both players and parents on development
  • Explain each activity clearly and break technical instructions down adequately so children can understand
  • Always maintain in being a Role Model for al participants
